About Mosone Cream

Mosone Cream is used to reduce inflammation (swelling), itchiness, and redness caused by certain skin problems called dermatitis or psoriasis. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Psoriasis is a condition in which skin cells multiply faster than normal, resulting in white scales and itchy, dry patches.

Mosone Cream contains Mometasone furoate, a potent corticosteroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain inflammatory substances in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such substances are released normally.

Use Mosone Cream as prescribed. You are advised to use Mosone Cream for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your condition. Mosone Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with Mosone Cream by nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Mosone Cream comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience inflamed hair follicles, acne, thinning of the skin, itching, stinging, tingling or burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Mometasone furoate or any other medicines, please tell your doctor.  If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Mosone Cream. Mosone Cream is not recommended for long-term use by children as it may lead to slow growth. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice vision changes after using Mosone Cream. Stop using Mosone Cream and contact your doctor if your skin becomes sensitive or irritated. Do not cover or wrap the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Avoid using Mosone Cream for more than five days in children and on the face. Avoid using Mosone Cream in or around the eyes, including eyelids. Do not use Mosone Cream on large areas of the body or for longer.
