Mesulid 50mg Suspension is used to treat pain and dysmenorrhea (painful periods or menstrual cramps). Besides this, it is also used to treat dental pain, which can occur due to damage to the tooth nerve, infection, decay, extraction, or injury. It contains Nimesulide, which works by blocking the effect of a chemical known as prostaglandin, responsible for inducing pain and inflammation in the body. It may cause common side effects like nausea, diarrhoea, changes in liver enzymes, and vomiting. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

About Mesulid 50mg Suspension

Mesulid 50mg Suspension belongs to a class of painkillers called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) used to treat pain and dysmenorrhea (painful periods or menstrual cramps). Besides this, it is also used to treat dental pain, which can occur due to damage to the tooth nerve, infection, decay, extraction, or injury. 

Mesulid 50mg Suspension contains Nimesulide, which works by blocking the effect of a chemical known as prostaglandin, responsible for inducing pain and inflammation in the body.

Take Mesulid 50mg Suspension as prescribed. Like all medicines, Mesulid 50mg Suspension may cause common side effects like nausea, diarrhoea, changes in liver enzymes, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not necessitate medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Do not take Mesulid 50mg Suspension if you are allergic to any of its components. Disperse the tablet in the prescribed amount of water and swallow the contents.
