Cardiovascular disease: It is a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels. They include coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, cerebrovascular disease, rheumatic heart disease, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and congenital heart disease. Symptoms include pain/discomfort in the chest, arms, left hand, or back.
Coronary artery disease: It is the damage/disease of the heart’s major blood vessel due to the build-up of plaque. This leads to narrowing of the blood vessel, which limits the blood flow. Symptoms include chest pain, shortness of breath, and heart attack.
Blood pressure: The blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels leading to high blood pressure. Hypertension symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, vision changes, chest pain, weakness, and shortness of breath. However, most of the time, the signs and symptoms of hypertension are none.
Hypertriglyceridemia: It is a condition in which the level of triglycerides in the blood is higher than normal. This could lead to an increased risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart disease.
