Apply the ointment to the skin as directed by your doctor. Irritation, burning sensation, itching, and redness of the skin at the application site are the common side effects of MELANOCYL OINTMENT. Drug-Drug Interactions: MELANOCYL OINTMENT may interact with photosensitising agents (e.g. aminolevulinic acid).

• Avoid harsh products on your skin.
• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly and get plenty of sleep.
• Consume large amounts of fruits and vegetables.
• Limit grains, meat, seafood, dairy products and eggs.
• Avoid red meat, nightshades, citrus fruits, and processed foods.
• Quit smoking and avoid or limit alcohol.
