About Mefarex Suspension

Mefarex Suspension contains 'Mefenamic acid', which works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and fever. Thus, Mefarex Suspension helps relieve fever and pain.

In some cases, Mefarex Suspension may cause side effects such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and flatulence. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Shake the bottle well before use. Administer the prescribed dose/quantity to the child using the measuring cup provided by the pack. It can be given after a meal to reduce stomach upset (heartburn).

What if I have taken an overdose of Mefarex Suspension

Mefarex Suspension should not be given to the child if they are allergic to any of its components or have pre-existing asthma, aspirin-sensitive asthma, active ulceration, chronic inflammation of the upper/lower gastrointestinal tract, or pre-existing renal disease.
