About LN Trio 10 Tablet

LN Trio 10 Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults. Hypertension is a condition in which the force of blood against the artery walls is very high. It will be an addition to the workload of the heart and arteries.

LN Trio 10 Tablet is a combination of three drugs, namely: Chlorthalidone (diuretic), Cilnidipine (calcium channel blocker), and Telmisartan (angiotensin II receptor blocker). Chlorthalidone belongs to the class of diuretics (water tablets) that work by increasing the removal of excess water and certain salts, such as sodium and potassium, from the blood. This removal of water from blood reduces the fluid volume circulating through blood vessels and improves blood flow. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that acts on muscle cells in the artery walls and relaxes muscle cells. Thereby, it relaxes and widens arteries (blood vessels) and improves the blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart. Telmisartan works by blocking a hormone called angiotensin II in the body that causes the narrowing of blood vessels leading to high blood pressure. Thereby, LN Trio 10 Tablet widens and relaxes blood vessels. Thus, it lowers high blood pressure.

Take LN Trio 10 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take LN Trio 10 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dizziness, headache, low blood pressure, stomach upset, or tiredness. Most of these side effects of LN Trio 10 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to LN Trio 10 Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. LN Trio 10 Tablet is not recommended for children below 18 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, avoid taking LN Trio 10 Tablet and consult a doctor. If you are about to take anesthesia or undergo any surgery, you are advised to inform your doctor that you are taking LN Trio 10 Tablet . Drive only if you are alert, as LN Trio 10 Tablet may cause dizziness or tiredness. You are recommended to avoid alcohol consumption with LN Trio 10 Tablet as it may increase the risk of low blood pressure.
