Kerashine-CT Anti Dandruff Lotion is used to treat dandruff and control seborrheic dermatitis (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). It contains Ketoconazole and Coal Tar which works by preventing the growth of dandruff-causing fungi and removes dead cells from the skin's top layer and slowing down the growth of skin cells. Thus, it decreases scaling and dryness, relieves itching and cracking related to dandruff. It may cause side effects such as warmth or a burning sensation, skin irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. Before uisng it, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Kerashine-CT Anti Dandruff Lotion may interact with the antianxiety drug (alprazolam), heart disease (quinidine, amiodarone), blood pressure-lowering pills (aliskiren, felodipine, nifedipine), medicines used to treat enlarged prostate (alfuzosin), anticancer (busulfan).
