Jfine Cream is an antifungal medicine that is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as ringworm, jock itch, and athlete’s foot. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).
Jfine Cream contains Terbinafine hydrochloride, an antifungal that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes, which are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents. Thereby, kills fungi and clears the fungal infection.
Jfine Cream is only for external use. Use Jfine Cream as advised by the doctor. Avoid contact of Jfine Cream with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Jfine Cream comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience side effects like itching, irritation, or skin peeling. Most of these side effects of Jfine Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Jfine Cream or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Jfine Cream. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) that is in contact with Jfine Cream catches fire and burns easily which is a serious fire hazard. If you have psoriasis, inform your doctor before using Jfine Cream.
