About Iver Shine Lotion

Iver Shine Lotion belongs to a class of medications called anthelmintics. It is used to treat lesions of Rosacea. Besides this, it can also be used to treat head lice (small bugs that attach themselves to the skin). Rosacea is a long-term medical condition that mostly affects the skin of the face, causing redness on the forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose.

Iver Shine Lotion contains Ivermectin, which acts as an anti-inflammatory drug; Ivermectin also has antiparasitic properties. It is beneficial in the treatment of rosacea and head lice.

Iver Shine Lotion is for external use only. In some cases, the Iver Shine Lotion may cause dryness, burning, itching, redness, or stinging of the skin as side effects. Most of these side effects eventually resolve over time without the need for medical intervention. Consult your doctor if any side effects worsen or persist.

Do not use Iver Shine Lotion if you are allergic to Ivermectin or other ingredients in this formulation. Consult your doctor if you are a pregnant or nursing mother. The Iver Shine Lotion should not be used to treat lice in the brows or eyelashes. Consult your doctor if you have lice in these areas.

Directions for Use

Cream/Gel: Take a small amount of the medicine on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after using it if your hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.Soap/shampoo: It can be used in place of regular soap/shampoo during bathing or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Caution should be exercised; Head lice are easily transmitted from one person to another by direct contact with items including clothing, hats, bandannas, towels, scarves, blankets, washcloths, hair bands, ribbons, helmets, hairbrushes, and combs, as well as hairs from infected individuals.

  • Protect your skin with a prescribed sunblock, hat, or sun-screening accessories. 
  • Load up on green leafy vegetables like spinach, oily fish, and citrus fruits. Almonds, blueberries, avocados, and nuts are rich in antioxidants and very helpful in preventing inflammation and improving skin quality.
  • Lower your carb intake, and avoid inflammatory drinks such as packaged juices, sweetened tea, and carbonated beverages. Also, avoid any foods you may be allergic to. 
  • Keeping your skin hydrated by drinking enough water can also do wonders for the overall quality of your skin. 
  • Always wash your makeup before sleeping. Never go to bed with makeup on.
  • Spend time on a proper skin care regimen.
  • Avoid intake of too much caffeine (tea, coffee, and chocolate), cheese, and spicy food.

Do not use more than the prescribed dose. Overdose of Iver Shine Lotion may cause rash, swelling, headache, dizziness, vomiting, diarrhoea, numbness/tingling, seizures.
