Thus, it lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of stroke, a heart attack or other heart problems. Ivabradine works by reducing the heart rate by a few beats per minute. In this way, it lowers the heart's requirement for oxygen, especially in situations where an angina attack can happen.
Before taking the Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet , inform your doctor about all your medical conditions, sensitivities, and medications you are using. If you are pregnant or intend to have a baby, do not use Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet . If you are pregnant and have taken Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet , you should notify your doctor immediately. If you are a nursing mother, inform your doctor. Your doctor may advise you to stop feeding while on this medication. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medicines you take before taking Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet to rule out any side effects. Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness.
Drug-Drug Interactions: Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet may have interaction with antiviral medications (e.g. nirmatrelvir, ritonavir), antidepressants (e.g. fluoxetine, sertraline), antipsychotic medications (e.g. quetiapine), antiemetic drug (e.g. ondansetron).
Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid intake of grapefruit juice with Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet as it may increase the levels of Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet in the blood. Also, avoid sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium-rich foods with Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet as they may reduce the effect of Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet .
Drug-Disease Interactions: Ivabrad M 7.5/25 Tablet may interact with disease conditions, including conduction disturbances, heart failure, hepatic impairment, hypotension, bradyarrhythmia/AV block, cardiogenic shock/hypotension, CHF, diabetes, hemodialysis, hypersensitivity, ischemic heart disease, PVD and liver disease.
