Inmeth 50 mg Suppositories belongs to the group of pain killers known as NSAID's (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) used to relieve symptoms caused by osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and rheumatoid arthritis such as stiffness, swelling and joint pain. Inmeth 50 mg Suppositories is also used to treat acute gouty arthritis and bursitis and/or tendinitis (painful shoulder).
Inmeth 50 mg Suppositories contains 'Indomethacin' that works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser prostaglandins are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.
You are advised to take Inmeth 50 mg Suppositories for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as headache, dizziness, indigestion, and nausea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
