GABA is an amino acid that works as a neurotransmitter (a chemical messenger that transmits the message from one nerve cell to another nerve cell, muscle cell, or gland cell) in the central nervous system. This chemical substance slows down the brain's activity to produce a calming effect, thus helping you sleep.

Take Hypnite 2 mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Common side effects of Hypnite 2 mg Tablet include headache, dizziness, taste changes, dry mouth, chills, cough, fever, hoarseness (abnormal voice changes), lower back or side pain, painful or difficult urination and drowsiness. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Hypnite 2 mg Tablet as it might lead to increased side effects like dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery as Hypnite 2 mg Tablet may decrease your mental alertness, making you feel dizzy or drowsy. Hypnite 2 mg Tablet is not recommended for people below 18 years of age as safety and effectiveness have not been established.
