About Hynidase Injection

Hynidase Injection belongs to a class of an enzyme primarily used together with fluids injected into the body to treat dehydration. It is also used to aid in the absorption of injections that are given into a muscle or under the skin. It is also used to enable excess fluids and blood in the tissues to be more easily re-absorbed. Besides this, it is also used to help contrast dyes in your body show more clearly on certain types of x-rays or scans.

Hynidase Injection contains Hyaluronidase is an enzyme, a natural spreading or diffusing substance that activates processes in the body. It works by increasing the permeability of connective tissue through hyaluronic acid hydrolysis (a chemical substance that retains water to keep your tissues well-lubricated and moist). It is used to temporarily break down the natural barriers in the body tissues so that injections or fluids injected under the skin or into muscle are more easily spread and absorbed.

Hynidase Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as hormone imbalance, allergic reaction, slow growth in children and teenagers, angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of skin), dizziness, injection site reaction, edema (swelling). Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Do not take Hynidase Injection if you are allergic to Hyaluronidase or any other contents present in it. Do not take Hynidase Injection if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed. Care should be taken in children and elderly patients to control the speed, and total volume of fluid administered and avoid over-hydration, especially in renal impairment. It is unknown if Hynidase Injection alters your ability to drive, so be cautious while driving or operating machinery. Consult your doctor before consuming alcohol, along with Hynidase Injection. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side-effects.
