Take Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Some people may experience application site irritation, skin irritation, and a burning sensation. Most of these side effects of Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

Please inform your doctor if you are allergic to Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml or other medicines. Avoid using Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml if you have taken antidepressants medicines such as linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, rasagiline, isocarboxazid, tranylcypromine and methylene blue injection (for diagnosis) in the past 14 days as Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml has chlorpheniramine. In children under two years of age, Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml should not be used for skin irritation. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml to protect yourself from being dehydrated or overheated during exercise and in hot weather, as Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml decreases sweating and increases heatstroke risk.

• Eat plenty of foods rich in good bacteria, like yoghurt, to improve overall health.
• Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.
• Gargle with salt water for relief from sore throat.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol with Histacalamine Lotion 125 ml as it may cause tiredness, drowsiness or lack of concentration.
•  Do not scratch or pick your skin to avoid infecting the affected area.
• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep.
• Do not walk barefoot at places like gym showers to prevent bacterial infections.
