Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body. Hhcepo 50 Paed Dry Syrup does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Hhcepo 50 Paed Dry Syrup contains Cefpodoxime proxetil, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Hhcepo 50 Paed Dry Syrup works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, Hhcepo 50 Paed Dry Syrup kills the bacteria and helps in treating bacterial infections.

In some cases, Hhcepo 50 Paed Dry Syrup may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea (watery or loose stool), and abdominal pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
