Gynaemed Vaginal Tablet used in the treatment or prevention of oropharyngeal candidiasis. Oropharyngeal candidiasis, also known as oral thrush or candidiasis, is an opportunistic mucosal infection caused by the fungus Candida albicans in the majority of cases.
Gynaemed Vaginal Tablet comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Gynaemed Vaginal Tablet damages the fungal cell membrane and causes the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus and curing the infection.
Use Gynaemed Vaginal Tablet as prescribed by the physician. In some cases, Gynaemed Vaginal Tablet may cause nausea, vomiting, itching, and unpleasant mouth sensations. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult the doctor immediately.
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to clotrimazole or if you have any other allergies. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not drink or eat anything for at least 30 minutes after using this medicine. Keep the doctor informed about your health condition, especially if you have immune system problems and poor blood circulation. Also, let your doctor know about the medicines you are taking to rule out any side effects.

Oral thrush or oropharyngeal candidiasis: Oral thrush is a fungal infection that affects the mouth. It is not contagious and is typically treated effectively with antifungal treatment. It is also known as oropharyngeal candidiasis or candidiasis since the Candida yeast family causes it. White patches (plaques) in the mouth, loss of taste or an unpleasant flavour, redness within the mouth and throat, fissures at the mouth corners, and a painful and burning sensation in the mouth are the symptoms of oral thrush.
