Glijoint Oa Tablet is used to treat arthralgia (joint pain). Glijoint Oa Tablet is also indicated for maintaining joints, muscles, cartilage, the integrity of joints, bone health, joint pain, arthritic pain, stiffness, low back pain, tendonitis or tendinopathy (tendon pain). Joint pain refers to the joints' discomfort, pain, stiffness, and soreness.
Glijoint Oa Tablet is a combination of five drugs: Chondroitin Sulfate, Collagen Hydrolysed, Sodium Hyaluronate, Vitamin C and Rosehip Extract. Chondroitin Sulfate prevents the breakdown of collagen. Collagen Hydrolysed helps in the regeneration of cartilage, thereby providing strength to the bones and improving the flexibility of joints. Sodium hyaluronate is similar to the fluid surrounding the joints; this acts as a lubricant and prevents friction between the joints. Vitamin C helps synthesise new collagen fibres and new blood vessel formation and promotes healing. Rosehip Extract helps prevent joint damage and eases joint inflammation. Together, Glijoint Oa Tablet helps provide relief from pain and stiffness in the joints.
Take Glijoint Oa Tablet with or without food. Swallow Glijoint Oa Tablet as a whole; do not crush or chew the tablet. Sometimes, you may experience certain common side effects, such as heartburn, stomach pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. It helps maintain joints, muscles, cartilage, and the integrity of joints, bone health, joint pain, arthritic pain, stiffness, low back pain, osteoarthritis, tendonitis or tendinopathy (tendon pain). Chondroitin Sulfate helps reinforce the collagen-chondroitin association cross-links and prevents collagen breakdown. Collagen Hydrolysed helps in the synthesis of new tendon fibre extracellular tissue that maintains the health of tendons. Sodium hyaluronate helps cross-link the collagen fibres within themselves, and chondroitin sulphate helps offer maximum tensile strength. It also lowers the adhesion between the tendon sheaths, thereby freely gliding tendons over the bones while healing. Vitamin C helps synthesise new collagen fibres and new blood vessel formation and promotes healing. Rosehip Extract contains polyphenols and anthocyanins, which help prevent joint damage and ease joint inflammation. Together, Glijoint Oa Tablet helps provide relief from pain and stiffness in the joints.

Arthritis is a common cause of joint pain. Other reasons include a past injury such as torn cartilage, dislocated joints and ligament injuries. Joint pain occurs when the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage.
