GLEZ 10MG TABLET is used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone cannot control their blood sugar levels. It contains Glipizide, which works by increasing insulin production by stimulating insulin secretion from the beta cells of the pancreas, thereby reducing high blood glucose (sugar) levels. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as hypoglycemia (low blood glucose levels), nausea, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. About GLEZ 10MG TABLET

GLEZ 10MG TABLET is used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone cannot control their blood sugar levels. Type-2 diabetes mellitus is also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes. Diabetes is a condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal.
 
GLEZ 10MG TABLET contains 'Glipizide', which works by increasing insulin production by stimulating insulin secretion from the beta cells of the pancreas, thereby reducing high blood glucose (sugar) levels. 
 
You are advised to take GLEZ 10MG TABLET for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as hypoglycemia (low blood glucose levels), nausea, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are recommended to consult your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
 
GLEZ 10MG TABLET is not effective in people with type 1 diabetes or for treating serious hyperglycemia (high blood glucose levels). Consult your doctor before taking GLEZ 10MG TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. GLEZ 10MG TABLET is not recommended for children. Directions for Use

Take GLEZ 10MG TABLET 30 minutes before food, as taking GLEZ 10MG TABLET with food may delay its absorption. What if I have taken an overdose of GLEZ 10MG TABLET

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of GLEZ 10MG TABLET as it may cause overdose and lead to life-threatening hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). The symptoms of severe low blood sugar include blurred vision, sweating, tremors, extreme weakness, stomach pain, trouble speaking, seizures (fits), or confusion. If you suspect you have taken overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.
