GINKGOVERT TABLET is a combination of two medicines, namely; Betahistine and Ginkgo Biloba. Betahistine GINKGOVERT TABLET is a “histamine analog” that is indicated to treat symptoms such as ringing in your ears (tinnitus), dizziness, vertigo, loss of balance, and hearing loss associated with Meniere's disease. It increases the blood flow to the inner ear and lowers the extra pressure build-up in the inner ear. By easing down the symptoms associated with Meniere's disease, this drug helps a person live their normal life. On the other hand, Ginkgo Biloba is an antioxidant that improves blood circulation in the brain, eyes, ears, and legs, thus helping in the better functioning of these organs.
GINKGOVERT TABLET is not allowed to use in patients with porphyria and should be used with caution to patients with bronchial asthma. GINKGOVERT TABLET is not recommended during pregnancy since Ginkgo biloba may cause premature labor or heaving bleeding during childbirth. Ginkgo also passes into breast milk.
