About Fuzit 2% Cream

Fuzit 2% Cream belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used in the treatment of various bacterial infections of skin and wounds, heart tissue, bone, lungs, and blood. Also, it is used to treat infections associated with cystic fibrosis. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.

Fuzit 2% Cream contains Fusidic acid, an antibiotic that works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow and multiply. Thereby, Fuzit 2% Cream stops the growth of bacteria without killing them directly. The bacteria eventually die or the immune system destroys them and clears the infection.

Most of these side effects of Fuzit 2% Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Fuzit 2% Cream or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Fuzit 2% Cream. Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Take probiotics after completing the full course of Fuzit 2% Cream to restore good bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Taking probiotics after antibiotic treatment can reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Certain fermented foods like cheese, yoghurt, kombucha, sauerkraut, and kimchi can help to restore the good bacteria of the intestine.
  • Include fibre-rich foods, as they can be easily digested by gut bacteria, which helps stimulate their growth. Whole grains such as brown rice and whole grain bread should be included in the diet.
  • Make sure you drink plenty of water or other fluids every day while taking Fuzit 2% Cream.

Special Advise

If you are using other medicines which may affect the liver, your doctor may recommend regular blood tests while taking Fuzit 2% Cream to monitor liver functioning.
