Chlorpheniramine maleate relieves allergy/cold symptoms. Phenylephrine provides relief from congestion. Together, FIFTY 50 DROPS provides relief from cough and cold.

FIFTY 50 DROPS contains Ambroxol (mucolytic agent), Chlorpheniramine maleate (antihistamine) and Phenylephrine (decongestant). Ambroxol helps clear congestion by thinning mucus/phlegm/sputum. It may also relieve sore throat by providing a numbing effect. Chlorpheniramine maleate relieves allergy/cold symptoms such as watery eyes, itching, runny nose, and sneezing by blocking the action of a chemical messenger called histamine. Phenylephrine provides relief from congestion and stuffy nose by narrowing the blood vessels in the nose. Together, FIFTY 50 DROPS provides relief from cough and cold.

What if I have taken an overdose of FIFTY 50 DROPS

Do not exceed the recommended dose. An overdose of FIFTY 50 DROPS can be harmful and may cause adverse events such as diarrhea, dyspepsia, pyrosis, nausea, vomiting, and skin rashes and rapid rise in blood pressure. If you take more than the prescribed dose accidentally, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or call the doctor immediately. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort.
