Enolam-Plus Tablet is used to treat anxiety disorder. An anxiety disorder is a mental condition characterized by feelings of excessive fear or worry that affect an individual's daily activities. High levels of anxiety can cause panic attacks, with intense feelings of nervousness, fear, sudden onset of sweating, hyperventilation, fast heartbeat, and skin flushing.

Enolam-Plus Tablet contains Etizolam (benzodiazepine) and Propanolol (a beta-blocker), used to treat anxiety. Etizolam works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger, GABA, which suppresses the excessive and abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain. Propanolol works by blocking a certain chemical messenger in the heart and blood vessels, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, and workload on the heart.

Take Enolam-Plus Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Enolam-Plus Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending upon your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience confusion, slow heart rate, memory impairment, tiredness, cold extremities, uncoordinated body movements, and drowsiness. Most of these side effects of Enolam-Plus Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.  

If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor Enolam-Plus Tablet contains Etizolam, a habit-forming drug, so take it in dose and duration prescribed by a doctor. Do not stop taking Enolam-Plus Tablet even if you feel better, as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms. Enolam-Plus Tablet is known to cause drowsiness, so do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may reduce the effectiveness of Enolam-Plus Tablet .

Do not take Enolam-Plus Tablet if you are allergic to Enolam-Plus Tablet or any of its ingredients. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before starting Enolam-Plus Tablet as it may cause adverse effects in the baby. Enolam-Plus Tablet should be used with caution in elderly patients as there is an increased risk of adverse reactions such as dizziness, muscle weakness, and drowsiness. Inform your doctor if you have myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), chronic pulmonary insufficiency, drug addiction, kidney or liver problems before taking Enolam-Plus Tablet . Do not take Enolam-Plus Tablet with opioids as it may cause breathing problems, drowsiness, coma, and even death.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Enolam-Plus Tablet may have interaction with high blood pressure-lowering medicines (clonidine, moxonidine, lofexidine, hydralazine, minoxidil, nitroprusside), fits related drugs (phenytoin, clonazepam, alprazolam, escitalopram, carbamazepine), antidepressants (paroxetine, fluvoxamine, trazodone), anti-allergic medication (cetirizine), opioid pain killers (bupropion, morphine, codeine), drugs used to treat heartburn (cisapride), sedative-hypnotics (zolpidem), drugs used to treat low blood sugar (diazoxide), antifungals (fluconazole), drugs for stomach ulcers (cimetidine, esomeprazole, omeprazole), antipsychotics (clozapine), drugs to treat chronic alcoholism (disulfiram).

Drug-Food Interaction: Enolam-Plus Tablet may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid alcohol intake while taking Enolam-Plus Tablet as it may increase side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, or difficulty in concentrating.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), pulmonary insufficiency, kidney or liver problems, diabetes, heart problem, inform your doctor before taking Enolam-Plus Tablet .

• Do regular exercise and maintain healthy body weight.

• Maintain a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

• Avoid fried foods, high-fat dairy products, pastries, and processed foods as they may worsen anxiety.

• Follow a regular sleep pattern. Do not take a nap during day time.

• Avoid watching tv, using mobiles or laptops just before bedtime.

• Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase drowsiness

• Do not take Enolam-Plus Tablet for a prolonged time as it may lead to mental or physical dependence on Enolam-Plus Tablet .

• Enolam-Plus Tablet causes drowsiness. Avoid doing activities that require your complete focus and attention, like driving when on this drug.

• An abrupt stoppage of Enolam-Plus Tablet can lead to significant withdrawal symptoms. Always discuss with your doctor about decreasing the dosage before completely stopping its usage.

• Avoid consuming alcohol while on Enolam-Plus Tablet  as it can lead to dangerous side effects.

• Enolam-Plus Tablet is unsafe for usage if you're pregnant or are planning to get pregnant. Discuss with your doctor in such situations about changing/replacing the medicine with safer alternatives.

• To avoid getting addicted to this drug, take it only in prescribed quantities and only as directed by your doctor. Do not self-medicate.
