Egliton 3 Injection is used for the treatment of Follicular cancer, Hairy cell carcinoma, Malignant melanoma, AIDS-Related Kaposi's Sarcoma, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Chronic hepatitis B, and Chronic hepatitis C. It contains Interferon alpha 2b as an active ingredient, which belongs to the class of immunomodulators. It works by inhibiting the abnormal growth of cancer cells. On the other hand, it also helps reduce the amount of hepatitis C virus (HCV) in the body.

About Egliton 3 Injection

Egliton 3 Injection is an anti-cancer medicine used in the treatment of hairy cell leukaemia, follicular leukaemia, malignant leukaemia, AIDS-Related Kaposi’s Sarcoma, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in combination with anthracycline-containing chemotherapy medicine, chronic hepatitis B and C. Cancer is a disease where the cells grow abnormally and divide uncontrollably. It can also be used when the cancer has spread to other parts of the body.

Egliton 3 Injection contains Interferon alpha 2b as an active ingredient, which belongs to the class of immunomodulators. It works by inhibiting the abnormal growth of cancer cells. It also helps reduce the amount of hepatitis C virus (HCV) in the body.

Egliton 3 Injection may cause certain side effects such as flu-like symptoms, diarrhoea, fatigue, nausea, headache, dizziness, vomiting, tiredness, and injection site reactions. If the side effects persist or bother you, consult your doctor. Egliton 3 Injection will be administered by a trained doctor. Hence, do not self-administer.

Avoid taking it and inform your doctor if you are allergic to Egliton 3 Injection or its components. Inform your doctor if you have any cardiovascular conditions, liver/kidney disease, autoimmune hepatitis, a history of autoimmune disease, or HIV infection, as it can cause adverse effects. $ is not recommended for use in pregnancy as it is known to cause fetal harm. What if I have taken an overdose of Egliton 3 Injection

As Egliton 3 Injection is a parenteral formulation administered by experienced medical staff, the chance of overdose may be less. However, if you think there has been an overdose or experiencing any adverse events, get medical care right away. Overdose of Egliton 3 Injection may cause nausea/vomiting that doesn't stop, chest pain, stomach/abdominal pain, and dark urine.

How does the drug interact with Egliton 3 Injection 1's:
When Egliton 3 Injection 1's is taken with Eltrombopag, it can lower the metabolism of Eltrombopag.

How to manage the interaction:
There may be a possibility of interaction between Eltrombopag and Egliton 3 Injection 1's, but it can be taken if prescribed by a doctor. If you have any of these symptoms, it's important to call a doctor right away. These symptoms include chronic hepatitis C, advanced liver disease, cirrhosis, liver failure, and other liver-related problems. You should also seek medical attention if you experience confusion, fever, joint pain, swelling, or any other unusual symptoms. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.

Coadministration of Egliton 3 Injection 1's with Baricitinib can increase the risk of developing serious infections.

How to manage the interaction:
Taking Baricitinib with Egliton 3 Injection 1's together can result in an interaction, but it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. However, consult a doctor if you experience fever, chills, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle pains, breathing difficulty, blood in your coughing fluid, weight loss, red or irritated skin, body sores, and discomfort or burning when you urinate. Do not stop using any medications without a doctor's advice.
