About Ebnol Cream

Ebnol Cream is used in the treatment of fungal or yeast infections of the skin such as athlete’s foot (affects toes), jock itch (affects the groin area), candidiasis (affects mouth, throat, gut, and vagina), and ringworm (affects skin or the scalp). Athlete’s foot, jock itch and ringworm are fungal infections closely related to each other, whereas candidiasis is a yeast infection caused by Candida albicans. These infections are usually seen in people with weak immune systems. They can spread through skin-to-skin contact.

Ebnol Cream contains Eberconazole is a potent antifungal agent used to treat dermatophytosis (a red, itchy, scaly, circular rash), candidiasis (affects mouth, throat, gut, and vagina), and pityriasis (a scaly rash that sweeps outward like the branches of a pine tree). The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents. Ebnol Cream causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Thus, it clears fungal infections and provides relief from cracking, burning, scaling, and itching of the skin caused by infections.

Ebnol Cream is only for external use. Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose depending on your medical condition. Avoid contact of Ebnol Cream with nose, mouth or eyes. Avoid contact of Ebnol Cream with nose, ears, mouth or eyes. If Ebnol Cream comes into contact with these areas accidentally, rinse it with water thoroughly. Some people may experience itching, irritation, or burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Ebnol Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Ebnol Cream or any other medicines, please inform your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, consult a doctor before using Ebnol Cream. Avoid using Ebnol Cream on open wounds or damaged or broken skin. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless advised by a doctor. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Ebnol Cream catches fire and burns easily. If you have rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne, perioral dermatitis (redness and swelling of the skin around the mouth), psoriasis, or liver problems, genital itching or other skin problems, inform your doctor before taking Ebnol Cream.
