COPD is a lung disorder that includes emphysema (breathing problems caused by a damaged air sac) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation and narrowing of the lining of airways or bronchial tubes).

Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml contains Ipratropium and Levosalbutamol. Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, it allows to breathe easily and provides relief from the symptoms of COPD such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.

Your doctor will advise the dosage and duration of Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml based on your medical condition. Headache, sore throat, dry mouth, runny or stuffy nose, cough with mucous, sneezing, chest tightness, dizziness, nervousness, weariness, irregular heartbeats, and vomiting are the possible side effects. Most of the side effects of Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml do not require medical attention and fade away with time. Please visit your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

If you are allergic to Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml or any other medicines, pregnant or breastfeeding, or experience severe difficulty in breathing, please consult a doctor. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml for a prolonged time as it may cause low potassium levels in the blood. Drug-Drug Interaction: Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml may interact with bronchodilators (e.g. salmeterol, albuterol, and formoterol), steroid medicines (e.g. budesonide, prednisone), water pills or diuretic medicines (e.g. furosemide), anti-sickness medicines (e.g. ondansetron), heart-related medicines (e.g. atropine).

Drug-Food Interaction: Caffeine may have an interaction with Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml. As a result, avoid or limit your intake of caffeinated beverages, foods, or dietary supplements along with Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml, as this may increase your risk of adverse effects.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Inform your doctor before taking Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, fits, an enlarged prostate, glaucoma, thyroid or heart problems, bladder obstruction, or other urinary problems.

• Consume potassium-rich foods such as tomatoes, bananas, asparagus, oranges, potatoes, avocados, dark leafy greens, and beetroots because potassium is essential for lung function and a potassium deficiency can cause breathing problems.
• Drink plenty of fluids every day to thin mucus and make coughing easier.
• Consume complex carbohydrates such as lentils, beans, barley, oats, quinoa, bran, peas, and potatoes with skin.
• Limit or avoid caffeinated beverages such as tea, coffee, soda, and energy drinks such as Red Bull.
• Consume protein-rich foods like meat, fish (especially salmon, sardines, and mackerel), eggs, and poultry.
• Exercise on a regular basis to strengthen your breathing muscles and strengthen your immune system. Learning breathing exercises will assist you in moving more air into and out of your lungs.
• Quit smoking because it can reduce the effectiveness of the Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml and irritate the lungs, exacerbating the breathing problem.

• Avoid contact of Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml with eyes, especially if you have glaucoma (damaged eye nerve due to increased eye pressure), as it may worsen the condition and cause eye irritation or blurred vision.
• Fungal infections might occur in your mouth and throat, so it is advisable to gargle with warm water after each inhalation of Duolin Respules 5 x 2.5 ml.
