Diclotaj 12.5mg Suppository belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) used to relieve pain, ease inflammation and reduce swelling in conditions affecting the joints, tendons and muscles such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout, ankylosing spondylitis, backache, sprains, strains, soft tissue sports injuries, frozen shoulder, dislocations, fractures, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis. It is also used to treat pain and inflammation associated with dental and minor surgery. Additionally, diclofenac is used to treat juvenile chronic arthritis in children aged 1 to 12 years and post-operative pain in children above 6 years. Diclotaj 12.5mg Suppository contains Diclofenac, which works by blocking the effect of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. This inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and thereby relieves pain and inflammation.

Directions for Use

Do not use Diclotaj 12.5mg Suppository if you are allergic to any of its components; if you have/had gastric/peptic ulcer, stomach/bowel problems after taking other NSAIDs, heart, kidney or liver failure, heart attack, stroke, blockage of blood vessels to the heart or brain, bypass surgery, or blood circulation problems. Inform the doctor if you have/had ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, liver or kidney problems, porphyria, bleeding disorder, asthma, high blood pressure, angina, diabetes, high cholesterol, or lupus. Diclotaj 12.5mg Suppository should be used during the first 6 months of pregnancy only if necessary and advised by your doctor. It is not recommended for use in the last 3 months of pregnancy and in breastfeeding women. Let the doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.
