About Dermi 5 Cream

Dermi 5 Cream is used to treat skin infections caused by bacteria and fungi. Bacterial skin infection occurs when bacteria enter the body through broken skin. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection.

Dermi 5 Cream contains Clobetasol Propionate, Gentamicin, Tolnaftate, Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline, and Clotrimazole. Clobetasol Propionate works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Gentamicin works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Tolnaftate works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause skin infections. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline belongs to the class of antifungals with additional antibacterial action. Clotrimazole eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane, allowing the components to leak, thus killing the fungus. Together, Dermi 5 Cream helps in treating skin infections.

In some cases, Dermi 5 Cream may cause side effects such as skin peeling, dryness, burning sensation, irritation, stinging sensation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not use Dermi 5 Cream if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Dermi 5 Cream is for external use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Dermi 5 Cream without a doctor's advice. Do not use Dermi 5 Cream in more than prescribed doses, or on a large area of skin for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply Dermi 5 Cream on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor.

Dermi 5 Cream is used to treat Bacterial skin infections

Medicinal Benefits

Dermi 5 Cream is a cocktail of medications used to treat skin infections caused by microorganisms like bacteria and fungi. It kills and inhibits the growth of infection-causing microorganisms, effectively clearing the infection and relieving symptoms. It also inhibits the release of chemicals that cause symptoms like itchiness, redness, and swelling. As a result, this medicine reduces the inflammation caused by these infections. Even if your symptoms go away, you should continue to use Dermi 5 Cream for the duration prescribed; otherwise, they may return. Depending on the infection, this could take several weeks. Even if your infection has been completely cured, you may need to apply it on a regular basis to keep the symptoms from returning.

Directions for Use
