About Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet

Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet is used to prevent and treat symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing. COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes).

Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet contains Theophylline and Etofylline, which work by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thus, it makes breathing easier. Thereby, Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet helps prevent and treat the symptoms of asthma and COPD.

Take Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience nausea, vomiting, headache, restlessness, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, or stomach upset. Most of these side effects of Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet contains two bronchodilators, namely, Theophylline and Etofylline, used to treat symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thus, it makes breathing easier.

Directions for Use

Tablet: Take it as advised by the doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break, crush or chew it.Syrup: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet may interact with antidepressants (clomipramine, desipramine, amitriptyline, amoxapine), anti-HIV medicines (ritonavir), antibiotics (erythromycin, clarithromycin, ciprofloxacin, enoxacin, linezolid), antifungals (fluconazole), anti-tuberculosis drugs (isoniazid, rifampicin), diuretics and oral contraceptives.

Drug-Food Interaction: Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet may interact with caffeine. Therefore, avoid or limit the intake of caffeine with Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet as it may increase side effects. Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet may interact with St. John's wort (a herbal supplement). Therefore, inform your doctor if you are using St. John's wort before taking Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have kidney, liver or heart problems, inform your doctor before taking Deripil Retard 115mg/35mg Tablet.
