About Deriphyllin Syrup

Deriphyllin Syrup is used to prevent and treat symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing. COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes).

Deriphyllin Syrup contains Theophylline and Etofylline, which work by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thus, it makes breathing easier. Thereby, Deriphyllin Syrup helps prevent and treat the symptoms of asthma and COPD.

Take Deriphyllin Syrup as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Deriphyllin Syrup for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience nausea, vomiting, headache, restlessness, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, or stomach upset. Directions for Use

Tablet: Take it as advised by the doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break, crush or chew it.Syrup: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack.

Deriphyllin Syrup may interact with St. John's wort (a herbal supplement). Therefore, inform your doctor if you are using St. John's wort before taking Deriphyllin Syrup .
