About Demson-8 Tablet

Demson-8 Tablet is used to treat inflammatory conditions such as allergic disorders and skin conditions. It is also used to treat ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis and breathing disorders. Furthermore, it is approved for the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in adult and adolescent patients (aged 12 years and older with a body weight of at least 40 kg) who require supplemental oxygen therapy.

Demson-8 Tablet contains dexamethasone, which works by blocking the release of substances that cause inflammation.

Demson-8 Tablet should be taken as prescribed by the physician. Some people may experience side effects like weight gain, indigestion, headache, dizziness, rash, fluid retention (swelling in your hands or ankles), sleep problems, mild mood changes and nausea. If the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Demson-8 Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Let your doctor know before prescribing Demson-8 Tablet if you are allergic to any content of this medicine or sulphites. You should disclose to your doctor if you have received any live virus vaccines. You should discuss with your doctor if you have fungal infections, amoebiasis, myasthenia gravis, peptic ulcer, osteoporosis, psychoses, eye infections, glaucoma, mental conditions, TB, bacteraemia (viable bacteria in the bloodstream), joint, liver, kidney, or heart conditions and septic arthritis resulting from gonorrhoea or tuberculosis. Let your doctor also know if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding before receiving this medicine. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice mood changes or have depression and strange thoughts while Demson-8 Tablet therapy. Do not abruptly stop taking Demson-8 Tablet as you might feel severe tiredness, weakness, body aches, and joint pain, which are withdrawal symptoms of Demson-8 Tablet . Consult your doctor, and your dose be lowered gradually to avoid any withdrawal symptoms.

On the other side, immunosuppressant activity helps to calm your immune system. If you miss a dose of Demson-8 Tablet , take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it's almost time for the next dose, do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
If you take more Demson-8 Tablet than required, please visit a doctor as it requires immediate medical attention. Excessive intake of Demson-8 Tablet may lead to swelling of the throat, difficulty breathing, or any skin reaction.
