Danzol CT Scalp Solution is used to treat dandruff and control seborrheic dermatitis (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). It contains Ketoconazole and Coal Tar which works by preventing the growth of dandruff-causing fungi and removes dead cells from the skin's top layer and slowing down the growth of skin cells. Thus, it decreases scaling and dryness, relieves itching and cracking related to dandruff. Danzol CT Scalp Solution is composed of two medicines: Ketoconazole (antifungal) and Coal Tar (keratolytic agent). Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent that works by preventing the growth of dandruff-causing fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Coal tar belongs to a class of drugs known as keratoplastic, which works by removing dead cells from the skin’s top layer and slowing down skin cells' growth. This effect decreases scaling and dryness, thus relieving itching and cracking related to dandruff.

You are advised to use Danzol CT Scalp Solution for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. You may experience warmth or a burning sensation, skin irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. The burning sensation may usually last for five minutes after application. Most of these side effects of Danzol CT Scalp Solution do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Directions for Use

It is only for external use. Check the label for directions before using Danzol CT Scalp Solution. Wet hair with a sufficient quantity of water. Apply 5 to 10ml of Danzol CT Scalp Solution on the scalp depending on the length of the hair. Massage to lather and leave it on the scalp and hair for a few minutes. Then, thoroughly rinse with water.
