Combimist L Respicap is used to treat or prevent symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), like shortness of breath, coughing or wheezing (whistling sound while breathing). COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath due to a damaged air sac) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation and narrowing of the lining of airways or bronchial tubes).
Combimist L Respicap is a combination of two bronchodilators: Levosalbutamol and Ipratropium bromide. Combimist L Respicap belongs to the class of bronchodilators that works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, it allows us to breathe easily.
Use Combimist L Respicap as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend how often you use Combimist L Respicap based on your medical condition. Some people may experience headache, sore throat, dry mouth, runny or stuffy nose, pain, cough with mucus, sneezing, chest tightness, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, nervousness, tiredness, irregular heartbeats and vomiting. Most of these side effects of Combimist L Respicap do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Combimist L Respicap or any other medicines, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or experience severe difficulty in breathing, please consult a doctor immediately. Do not use Combimist L Respicap in more than the prescribed doses as it may lead to severe heart or lung problems. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking a prolonged intake of Combimist L Respicap may cause low potassium levels in the blood. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes fits, enlarged prostate, glaucoma, thyroid or heart problems, bladder obstruction or other urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking Combimist L Respicap . Please do not use or store Combimist L Respicap near open flame or heat as it may burst the container.
