About Colirid Tablet

Colirid Tablet is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gastrointestinal conditions characterized by motility problems, painful bowel spasms and distension (swelling and bloating in the belly area). Irritable bowel syndrome is a common disease that affects the large intestine. IBS is also known as spastic colon, irritable colon, spastic colitis, and mucous colitis. An irritable bowel syndrome is a group of intestinal symptoms that occur together.

Colirid Tablet contains Otilonium bromide, an antispasmodic that works by relaxing the muscles in the walls of the intestine. Thus, it provides relief from painful muscle spasms and reduces stomach pain caused by spasms, cramps, gas formation, bloating, and discomfort.

In some cases, you may experience nausea, dry mouth, stomach pain, dizziness, headache, or tiredness. Most of these side effects of Colirid Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
