About Clotas-Plus Tablet

Clotas-Plus Tablet is used to treat anxiety. Besides this, Clotas-Plus Tablet is also used to treat high blood pressure, panic disorder, seizure disorder, fast heartbeat, and migraine. Anxiety is a mental health disorder characterised by feelings of anxiety, worry or fear that are strong enough to interfere with one’s daily activities. Symptoms of anxiety include rapid breathing, increased heart rate, restlessness, trouble concentrating, and difficulty falling asleep.

Clotas-Plus Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Clonazepam (benzodiazepine) and Propranolol (beta-blocker). Clonazepam works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger called GABA; this helps suppress the excessive and abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Propranolol blocks certain chemical messengers' action on the heart and blood vessels; this helps reduce heart rate and blood pressure.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as dry mouth, slow heart rate, depression, fatigue, nightmares, sleep disturbances, memory impairment, and confusion. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Please do not stop taking Clotas-Plus Tablet on your own as it might cause withdrawal symptoms. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking Clotas-Plus Tablet as it may cause increased dizziness. Clotas-Plus Tablet is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness were not established.
