About Clobact GM Cream

Clobact GM Cream is used to treat swelling, itching, and redness caused by bacterial or fungal skin infections. Clobact GM Cream effectively treats bacterial and fungal skin infections. 

Clobact GM Cream is a combination of Clobetasol, Miconazole, and Neomycin. Clobetasol blocks prostaglandin production (chemical messengers) that cause symptoms of skin infections. Miconazole causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Neomycin prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Clobact GM Cream may cause side effects such as dry skin, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are mild and temporary. They do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Clobact GM Cream if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Clobact GM Cream, inform your doctor if you have any viral infections, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, adrenal gland problems, skin atrophy (thinning of the skin) or liver diseases. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dosage and timing for optimal results. 
  • Gently rinse the affected area with saline or water before applying Clobact GM Cream. Pat the skin and dry it with a clean cotton towel. Apply a generous amount of Clobact GM Cream and spread it evenly on the skin's affected areas to form a 1/8-inch thick layer with clean and dry hands. You can also apply Clobact GM Cream with a clean cotton wool or gauze swab. 
  • Wash your hands before and after using Clobact GM Cream on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.

What if I have taken an overdose of Clobact GM Cream

Do not apply Clobact GM Cream in large amounts or use it for a long time than recommended, as it does not give quick or better results but increases the risk of side effects.

  • Avoid using Clobact GM Cream if you are allergic to it or any other components present in it.
  • Clobact GM Cream is not recommended for use on larger areas of skin.
  • Do not use it for prolonged periods unless prescribed by your doctor.
  • It would be best if you did not cover the treated area with a bandage or plaster, especially the face, without checking with your doctor.
