About Chromotop 2mg Inhaler

Chromotop 2mg Inhaler belongs to a class of medicines called anti-allergic agents used to prevent asthma symptoms. Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing.

Chromotop 2mg Inhaler contains Sodium cromoglycate that works by stabilising mast cells (immune cells) and prevents the release of histamine, a substance responsible for causing inflammation. Thus, it reduces inflammation in the lungs and makes it easier to breathe and helps to prevent asthma attacks.

Use Chromotop 2mg Inhaler as prescribed. You are advised to use Chromotop 2mg Inhaler for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Sometimes, it may cause a cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing. These side effects of Chromotop 2mg Inhaler do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Sodium cromoglycate or any other medicines, foods, dyes or preservatives, please tell your doctor. Chromotop 2mg Inhaler should be used in children only if advised by a doctor and under adult supervision. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Chromotop 2mg Inhaler. Avoid using Chromotop 2mg Inhaler if the packaging is torn or shows any signs of tampering. You are recommended to use reliever medicine prescribed by your doctor for the treatment of sudden asthma attacks.
