Cgbose 25mg Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes, especially in patients whose blood sugar levels are not controlled by diet and exercise alone. It may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It contains Acarbose, which works by inhibiting the action of intestinal enzymes that break down complex sugars and starches into simple sugars. Thereby delaying the absorption of sugar into the blood and reducing the abnormal rise in blood sugar levels after meals. In some cases, you may experience side effects such as flatulence (gas), stomach pain, or diarrhoea. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

About Cgbose 25mg Tablet

Cgbose 25mg Tablet may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) condition that affects the way our body processes glucose. People with type 2 diabetes either do not produce enough insulin, or the insulin produced is unable to perform its function in the body (insulin resistance). Middle-aged or older individuals are most likely to suffer from type 2 diabetes, so it is also known as adult-onset diabetes.

Cgbose 25mg Tablet contains 'Acarbose' that works by inhibiting the action of intestinal enzymes that break down complex sugars and starches into simple sugars. Thereby delaying the absorption of sugar into the blood and reducing the abnormal rise in blood sugar levels after meals.

Take Cgbose 25mg Tablet with food and chew it, preferably with the first bite of each meal, or swallow it as a whole with water. Do not crush or break it. Most of these side effects of Cgbose 25mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
