Cernos Gel 5 gm contains Testosterone, which helps replenish the deficient testosterone levels in adult men. Thereby, Cernos Gel 5 gm helps in treating low testosterone levels. Testosterone is the anabolic steroid and primary sex hormone in males, which plays an important role in the development of male reproductive tissues like the prostate and testes.

In some cases, Cernos Gel 5 gm may cause side effects such as application site reactions, acne, prostatic disorders, and headache. Directions for Use

Apply Cernos Gel 5 gm to clean, dry, and intact upper arms, shoulders, and/or abdomen skin. After the gel has dried, cover the application site with clothing. Wash your hands immediately with soap and water after using Cernos Gel 5 gm. Do not apply Cernos Gel 5 gm to other body parts such as the chest, back, armpits, knee or genitals.

Do not use Cernos Gel 5 gm if you are allergic to any of its components, if you have prostate cancer or breast cancer, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Cernos Gel 5 gm is not intended for use in women due to a lack of controlled studies on women. Inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, high red blood cell count or haemoglobin/haematocrit levels, enlarged prostate, liver or kidney problems, migraine, sleep apnoea (breathing problem while sleeping), hypercalcemia (high calcium levels), hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine) or oedema. Cernos Gel 5 gm is not recommended for children below 18 years as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Virilisation (female develops characteristics associated with male hormones) have been reported in children who were secondarily exposed to testosterone gel. Children should avoid contact with unclothed/unwashed application sites of men using Cernos Gel 5 gm.
