Ceforap-S 1.5 gm Injection contains Cefoperazone sodium (cephalosporin antibiotic) and Sulbactam (beta-lactamase inhibitor). Cefoperazone sodium works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Thereby killing the bacteria. Sulbactam works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of Cefoperazone sodium against the bacteria. Together, Ceforap-S 1.5 gm Injection helps treat bacterial infections.
Ceforap-S 1.5 gm Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. In some cases, Ceforap-S 1.5 gm Injection may cause diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, headache, rash, and injection site reactions. Most of these side effects of Ceforap-S 1.5 gm Injection do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
