About Cefiseed-AZ Tablet

Cefiseed-AZ Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, urinary tract, and throat. It may also be used to treat pneumonia, strep throat, traveller’s diarrhoea, typhoid, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Cefiseed-AZ Tablet contains Azithromycin and Cefixime. Azithromycin prevents protein synthesis, whereas Cefixime prevents the formation of bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Together, Cefiseed-AZ Tablet helps to treat bacterial infections.

In some cases, Cefiseed-AZ Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and dark urine. These side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
