About Cebran Eye Drops 5 ml

Cebran Eye Drops 5 ml is a combination medication primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections. Bacterial eye infection occurs when pathogenic bacteria enter any eye portion, including the eyeball, conjunctiva, and cornea.

Cebran Eye Drops 5 ml contains Ciprofloxacin and Boric acid. Ciprofloxacin works by suppressing the enzyme DNA gyrase, which is essential for bacterial DNA synthesis. Boric acid is an antiseptic. It provides soothing relief from eye irritation and helps to remove air pollutants and foreign materials. Together Cebran Eye Drops 5 ml prevents the spread of eye infections caused by a wide range of gram-negative bacteria causing eye infections.

Sometimes, you may experience certain common side effects, such as discomfort, irritation, and stinging sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Treatment of Bacterial eye infections

Medicinal Benefits

Cebran Eye Drops 5 ml is a combination of two antibiotics: Ciprofloxacin and Boric acid, primarily used to treat eye bacterial infections (like conjunctivitis). It has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity against aerobic gram-positive and aerobic gram-negative bacteria (that live in oxygen). Boric acid is an antiseptic. It provides soothing relief from eye irritation and helps to remove air pollutants and foreign materials.
