CD Pro 500mg/2mg/10mg Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus associated with dyslipidaemia. It contains Atorvastatin, Glimepiride and Metformin. Atorvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that raises good cholesterol and lowers bad cholesterol. It slows the production of cholesterol in the body and decreases the build-up of cholesterol on artery walls. Metformin belongs to a class of medicines called biguanides that aids better use of existing insulin by decreasing the absorption and production of sugar in the body. Glimepiride is the preferred sulphonylurea in those with underlying cardiovascular disease (CAD). It lowers blood glucose by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas. CD Pro 500mg/2mg/10mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus associated with dyslipidaemia. CD Pro 500mg/2mg/10mg Tablet has both lipid and glucose-lowering effects; this helps in lowering blood triglycerides and blood glucose levels as well.

CD Pro 500mg/2mg/10mg Tablet contains Atorvastatin, Glimepiride and Metformin. Atorvastatin raises good cholesterol and lowers bad cholesterol. What if I have taken an overdose of CD Pro 500mg/2mg/10mg Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of CD Pro 500mg/2mg/10mg Tablet may include anxiety, dark urine and muscle pain, indicating rhabdomyolysis and kidney damage, diaphoresis, diarrhoea, epigastric pain, fast or shallow breathing, feeling cold, hyperpnoea, jaundice, indicating liver damage, lethargy, lost appetite, nausea, palpitations, passing out, seizures, severe nausea, stomach pain, tachycardia, thirstiness, tiredness or weakness, tremor, trouble breathing due to allergic reaction, unusual sleepiness, and vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any symptoms or think you have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Do not take CD Pro 500mg/2mg/10mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components. Inform your doctor if you have glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, infection, dehydration, heart problems, kidney or liver problems, if you drink alcohol or if you are due to undergo any surgery, including dental surgery.
