About New Castor NF Cream

New Castor NF Cream is used to reduce swelling, itching, and redness caused by certain skin infections (psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, allergies, rash) caused by bacteria and fungus. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another). A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.

New Castor NF Cream contains four medicines, namely Clobetasol, ofloxacin, ornidazole, and terbinafine. Clobetasol belongs to the class of corticosteroids that work by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by stopping them from replicating and restoring themselves. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic that kills other infectious bacteria in addition to bacteria by harming the DNA. Terbinafine is an antifungal that prevents the growth of fungi by stopping them from developing their protective covering.

You are advised to use New Castor NF Cream for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. You may experience burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application, skin peeling, and thinning of the skin. Most of these side effects of New Castor NF Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to New Castor NF Cream or any ingredient of medicines, please tell your doctor. If you have adrenal gland or liver problems and any skin infection, inform your doctor before taking New Castor NF Cream. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, consult a doctor before using New Castor NF Cream. New Castor NF Cream should not be recommended for use in children below 12 years.
