Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary is used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.
Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.
Use Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions, including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.
Do not use Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary without a doctor's advice. Tampons and other vaginal products should not be used while on treatment with Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary. Avoid using Cano 500mg Vaginal Pessary during the menstrual period (menses); wait until menses is over.
