About Candifem Vaginal Cream

Candifem Vaginal Cream is used to treat vaginal infections like vaginal candidiasis, vaginal trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis. Vaginal infection is the infection of the vagina and vulva (tissue at the opening of the vagina).

Candifem Vaginal Cream contains Ornidazole and Miconazole. It works by damaging the DNA and preventing the formation of a protective covering, which is essential for the survival of bacteria and fungi. Thereby, it helps treat vaginal infections.

In some cases, Candifem Vaginal Cream may cause side effects such as local irritation, itching, and a burning sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, consult the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Let the doctor know if you are allergic to any of the components in Candifem Vaginal Cream. Please consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines you are taking to rule out any side effects/interactions.
