Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension belongs to the Vitamins class, primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension effectively treats various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body like Vitamin D deficiency, vitamin B12 deficiency, osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), hypoparathyroidism (parathyroid glands make low levels of calcium in the body), latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels), and rickets or osteomalacia (softening or deforming of bones due to lack of calcium). Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body cannot absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).
Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension consists of three medicines: Calcium, Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), and Cobalamin (Vitamin B₁₂). Calcium is a mineral that is used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation. Cholecalciferol is a steroid hormone produced in the skin when exposed to ultraviolet light or obtained from food sources. It helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and the mineralization of bone. Cobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that helps properly function the brain, nerves, and red blood cells.
Take Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension as recommended. Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension is likely safe to consume. In some cases, it may cause side effects like diarrhoea, constipation, and stomach upset. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.
Do not take Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension if you're allergic to any ingredient in it. Please inform your doctor if you have hypercalcemia (high calcium levels), hypervitaminosis D (high vitamin D levels), malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), low levels of bile, and phosphate imbalance before starting Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension . Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension . Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension is safe for children only when recommended by the doctor.

Let your doctor know if you are allergic to Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension or its inactive components. Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension is not recommended if you have hypercalcemia (high calcium levels), hypervitaminosis D (high vitamin D levels), and malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food). Brief your medical history to the doctor if you have any heart/kidney/liver/blood vessel diseases, kidney stones, sarcoidosis (growth of inflammatory cells in different parts of the body), Crohn's disease (inflammatory bowel disease), Whipple's disease (bacterial infection affecting joints and digestive system), achlorhydria (little or no stomach acid), low levels of bile, and phosphate imbalance. Chewable and dissolving tablets may contain sugar or aspartame; hence, you should be cautious if you have diabetes and phenylketonuria (increased amino acid levels called phenylalanine). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension . Drinking alcohol can hinder calcium absorption; therefore, it is advised to limit alcohol intake while using Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension . Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension is safe for children only when recommended by the doctor. Do not store Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension above 25°C.

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid or reduce caffeine intake, soft drinks and alcohol that inhibit calcium absorption.
Drug-Disease Interactions: Calspect Mango Flavour Suspension is contraindicated in hypercalcaemia, hypervitaminosis D, malabsorption syndrome, and Vitamin D toxicity. Use this medicine with caution in heart/ liver/blood vessel diseases, kidney stones, sarcoidosis, Crohn's disease, Whipple's disease, achlorhydria, low levels of bile, phosphate imbalance, diabetes, and phenylketonuria.
Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese, or milk-based custard in your diet.
Eat a serving of broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, spinach, and other green leafy vegetables daily.
Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, liver and kidney, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables, such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.

Vitamin D deficiency: When a person cannot get enough Vitamin D through food and exposure to sunlight, it leads to vitamin D deficiency. It often leads to thin, brittle, or misshapen bones.
Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis is a bone disease that makes the bones weak and brittle by decreasing bone density.
Tetany: A disease condition due to low calcium levels (hypocalcemia) in the body that causes cramps and spasms in the hands, feet, and larynx (voice box).
Osteomalacia/Rickets: A disease caused by softening and weakening of bones in children due to inadequate vitamin D. Hypoparathyroidism is a disease characterized by low parathyroid hormone levels. This can cause low calcium levels and trigger tetany (muscle cramps, spasms, or tremors).
Vitamin B12 deficiency (cobalamin deficiency): When your body doesn't have adequate mineral levels called Vitamin B12, it leads to Vitamin B12 deficiency. Symptoms include fatigue, breathlessness, numbness, poor balance, and memory trouble.
