About Calcidef Tablet

Calcidef Tablet is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for body development and the prevention of diseases.

Calcidef Tablet is a combination of four drugs: Elemental Calcium, Folic acid, Glycine, and Vitamin D2. Elemental Calcium strengthens bones and reduces weakness. Folic acid is essential for heme (a pigmented, iron-containing portion of haemoglobin in red blood cells) formation. Glycine is an amino acid necessary for the healthy development of muscles, tissues, and skeleton. Vitamin D2 is essential for intestinal phosphorus and calcium absorption. Thereby, Calcidef Tablet improves the overall health of the body.

Take Calcidef Tablet as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience nausea, vomiting, constipation, loss of appetite, or flatulence (gas). Most of these side effects of Calcidef Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Calcidef Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Calcidef Tablet should be used in children only if advised by a doctor.
