About C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet

C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet belongs to a group of antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, sinuses (sinusitis), throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis), lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia), and urinary system (cystitis and kidney infections). Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in your body. These harmful bacteria produce toxins, damaging tissue and making you sick.

C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet contains Cefixime (antibiotic) and Lactic Acid Bacillus (beneficial lactic acid-producing bacteria). Cefixime kills the bacterial cell by blocking the chemical (mucopeptides) released by the bacteria's outer layer (cell wall). In turn, C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet weakens and destroys the bacterial cell wall. It is a broad range of antibiotics that helps in fighting various types of bacteria. Lactic Acid Bacillus is a beneficial lactic acid-producing bacteria (good bacteria) that supports the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestine, maintaining a healthy balance of microflora in the gut environment. Lactic Acid Bacillus prevents diarrhoea due to a prolonged intake of C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet . Thus, together C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet helps in the prevention of infections.  C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

Take C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet with or without food. It should be swallowed as a whole, do not crush or chew the tablet. Sometimes, you may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, abdominal pain, and Headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Before starting C-Max LB Dispersible Tablet , please inform your doctor if you have any allergies (against any antibiotic) or kidney or liver problems.
