About BP-Loride Tablet

BP-Loride Tablet belongs to the group of anti-hypertensive medicines used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). BP-Loride Tablet helps lower blood pressure, reducing the chances of heart problems such as heart attack and stroke. High blood pressure is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels.

BP-Loride Tablet contains Atenolol, Amiloride, and Hydrochlorothiazide. Atenolol widens the blood vessels and helps the heart beat more regularly. Amiloride and Hydrochlorothiazide work by causing the kidneys to remove unnecessary water and salt from the body and into the urine. Together, BP-Loride Tablet helps treat hypertension.

Sometimes, BP-Loride Tablet may cause side effects such as headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, weakness, and diarrhoea. These side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

What if I have taken an overdose of BP-Loride Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of BP-Loride Tablet may include extreme weakness or lack of energy, very slow heart rate or increase in heart rate, shortness of breath, fainting, decreased urination, dry mouth, lightheadedness, muscle cramps or pain, pain or weakness in the hands or feet, rapid breathing, sunken eyes, thirst, and wrinkled skin. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Drug Warnings

Do not take BP-Loride Tablet if you are allergic to its components.
