Botropase Injection 1 ml contains ''Haemocoagulase (Bothrops atrox)'' which is a haemostatic (meaning blood-stopping). It promotes blood clumping and coagulation and thereby effectively controlling bleeding.

Botropase Injection 1 ml may cause certain common side effects like pain, swelling, and redness at the site of injection.
